Waxhaw Woman’s Club…

was formed in 1911 by women concerned for the welfare of their town and its citizens. They had three goals: to help make Waxhaw and its surrounding area a clean and safe place to live, to preserve the historical heritage of the region, and to work with town officials in all worthy undertakings. For over 100 years, the members of this club have never wavered from those goals, and the town of Waxhaw has greatly benefited from their efforts.

The Waxhaw Woman’s Club is a service organization and welcomes those women who would like to serve this community too.

The Waxhaw Woman’s Club is sponsoring an Angel Tree donation again this year.

Check out our Angle Tree post for details.

The Woman’s Club meets at 7 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month, September – May.
